Plaid Teddies & Bunnies

Step 1:

• Stamp teddy on patterned paper
• Stamp teddy on solid colored background paper

Step 2:

• Trim very closely around the teddy on the patterned paper (trimming of all fur on the edges)

Step 3:

• Glue trimmed pattered paper bear onto the stamped background paper (Look all the fur returns!)

Hint:

I use glue stick when gluing these projects.  There is a secret to using glue stick.  Turn the cut out teddy wrong side up on a piece of scrap paper.  Run the glue stick firmly around all edges of the project and spread the glue stick over the entire back of the image.  Place the cut out teddy over the top of the image stamped on plain paper.  When perfectly in place, matching the background image, lay a clean piece of scrap paper over the top.  Smooth firmly with the side of your hand over the entire image that is covered with scrap paper.  When you pick up the scrap paper the image will be firmly glued in place with no smearing or extra glue around the edges.
